Taking notes from the children
Under the tree resumes to be the very most relaxing place to just be,
With the bothering of the flies and the ants
But isn’t that what this is?
Cohabitance is a miniscule problem with an infinant solution of wonder and beauty.
Children cry joyfully for the critters like ants and snails.
It is a gift to see the children enjoy,
BecauseĀ the children enjoy without reservation
And hopefully without any opposing forces.
Unfortunately, to their dismay and mine, they will receive a “no” from time to time,
But this could never stop their fun.
Child would happily comply or blissfully ignore because child is busy rejoicing.
i’mma butterfly
Does the butterfly ever feel shame, likeĀ I do?
I am the human, is this my own trait?
Does it tire of it’s fluttering way,
Like I complain of precious life?
Does the butterfly pray and get lost in the mind as I find myself doing from time to time?
And, what are the butterfly’s thoughts on Heaven?
I think the butterfly has an innate understanding of the grander view.
I think the beautiful butterfly knows more than I do.
I love that beautiful butterfly for all it’s gliding grace, and it’s understanding of life and truth.
Little, and spectacular butterfly, I’ll try to think more like you.
